Two Months of Ian

Here we are two weeks after the twenty third again. I guess you could say life is a bit busier with two kids. Not that we're busy doing much more than changing diapers and taking Thomas the Train/Jack to the coal car/bathroom. But still, those two activities are enough to keep a person occupied for a good part of the day. When we're not dealing with that sort of thing, we're mostly just hiding inside from the heat. Luckily, I've got pretty good company to hibernate with.

Mr. Ian is getting very interactive. He loves to be talked to and will coo and smile back at you. He's getting very interested in toys that hang from him play mat. When he's in the mood he can lay there swatting and kicking at them for quite a while. Of course, he never does it when I really want him to, though. He's still a fairly chill, laid back baby except in the evenings when it gets close to bed time. Luckily he's a great sleeper, though. He's done two or three nights of sleeping from 8:30-6:30 then back to sleep til 8:30 or 9:00. He's set up a pretty good little schedule for himself and insists on bed time at 8:30.

He's become quite the little chunk over the last 3-4 weeks. He was 12 lbs 13 oz at his doctor's appointment which is the 75th percentile. He can fit into a lot of 3-6 month clothes and has flown through diaper sizes. He's already wearing size two. We couldn't even keep him in size one long enough to get through all the diapers people had given us. But we sure love our chunky monkey. He's got very kissable cheeks and squeezable thighs.

This is right about when he lost patience with the photo shoot.

And all my handsome boys in their Sunday clothes.

And then for some iPhone pics from the month, we have Ian in his Bumbo. He loves to sit up and rarely allows you to hold him like a baby. so the Bumbo is great.

Adam on Father's day with the boys.

He slept in his crib for the first time all night and did great!
And me and my cute boys. I just love 'em.

Also this month, Papa and Andrew got to meet Ian (Nana had already met him, of course). They came to visit for the blessing and stayed for a week or so afterward. (Blessing day photos are still coming, by the way)
