Today marks five months for Jack. Where has the time gone? Sometimes it feels like he was just born and other times it feels like he's always been around because it's hard to remember being without him.
At five months:
-He loves his daddy. Everything Adam does is hilarious to Jack. Adam will be talking to me in his non-baby voice and Jack just starts cracking up. He'll do anything to get Adam's attention.
-Along the same lines, Jack is really starting to love listening to Adam play guitar and he really loves to hear the ukulele. He pays close attention to the noises. It's really calming for him when he's fussy.
-As you know from the former post, Jack LOVES his rice cereal particularly in the evening. We've been trying to time it so that we feed him before he gets too frantic, but he's still pretty crazy about it.
-He's nearly got back to tummy rolls down. His left hand gets in his way still, though.
-He's really good at grabbing things. When he sees something he wants you can see the cogs in his brain turning, trying to figure out how to get a hold of it. Then he lunges for whatever the object is.
-He would always prefer to be sitting up, so his high chair and saucer are great places for him. If he's on his back he's usually lifting his head doing crunches in attempts to lift himself up.
-His favorite toys are his hands and feet. He likes to hold his hand in front of his face and watch it move.
-He spits up daily on me, but never on Adam.
-He's all torso with itty bitty legs. He still wears 3-6 month shirts and 0-3 month pants. There are even some 0-3 pants that still don't fit.
I got some pretty great pictures this month since Adam was home to make him giggle like crazy.

Look at his hair! It's getting darker, or maybe it's just me. Either way, what a cute smiley baby. Plus thats an pure awesome shirt. 5 months already. Time flies. I'm glad Brent will be able to play guitar for our kids too. Hopefully it calms them like it does Jack.
